The Doherty Institute will host the Australian and New Zealand course in Travel Medicine.

The course will cover a comprehensive range of topics in travel and tropical medicine including requirements for yellow fever vaccine accreditation. The keynote lecturer for the course is Prof Robert Steffen of Zurich University, a world renowned expert in travel medicine. 

The Scientific Committee for the course include Prof Joe Torresi (Department of Microbiology and Immunology, The University of Melbourne), Prof Peter Leggat (James Cook University), Prof Marc Shaw, (World Wise Travel, New Zealand) and Dr Eddy Barovic (TravelVax Australia, Perth). This course is endorsed by the Australian College of Tropical Medicine in conjunction with WorldWise Travel, New Zealand, sponsored by Sanofi Pasteur and the Australian College of Tropical Medicine.
