Located in the Melbourne Biomedical Precinct and close to public transport and car parking facilities, the Doherty Institute has a range of spaces available for hire that can cater for meetings, seminars and other larger events.
All event spaces are fitted with standard AV equipment and are fully wheelchair accessible.

Positioned near the main entrance of the Doherty Institute, the Auditorium can cater for up to 200 guests seated and features its own internal foyer, kitchenette, registration table and bathroom facilities. The Auditorium also comes with a separate and smaller AV system located in its foyer area.
Seminar Rooms 2 and 3
These two versatile spaces are located on the ground floor mezzanine of the Doherty Institute and have the capacity to seat 40 and 20 guests respectively. The rooms can be combined to create a single space, which can accommodate 60 guests seated or 80 standing. The external wall can also be opened out to the mezzanine foyer during events to create an open-plan space when required.
The Burnet Room on level 10 of the Doherty Institute boasts stunning views of the Melbourne Biomedical Precinct and can seat up to 16 guests. This space also comes with its own mini kitchenette, tea and coffee making facilities and whiteboard.
