Professor Elizabeth Vincan

Laboratory Head

Overview

Professor Elizabeth Vincan is a Clinical Scientist and Medical Researcher in the Department of Infectious Diseases, Melbourne Medical School, University of Melbourne. Her team of researchers use innovative 3D culture models, called organoids, to investigate how normal stem cells become cancer cells and the role Wnt signalling plays in this change. Her role as a Clinical Scientist is to adopt organoid models from her research laboratory into a translational setting. Elizabeth is a Clinical Scientist, Fellow of the Australian Institute of Clinical and Medical Scientists (AIMS).
