Are you going to get a COVID-19 or monkeypox vaccine? We are looking for a wide selection of Victorians to contribute samples to the Victorian Critical Vaccinees Collection (VC²).

If you’re planning to get a pandemic vaccine, e.g. COVID-19 or monkeypox, and may be interested to contribute to the VC2 please register your interest here and our study team will get in touch with you

You may wish to participate as someone who belongs to one (or more) of these priority subgroups:

  • Healthcare worker
  • People who have had SARS-CoV-2 or monkeypox infection
  • People over the age of 65
  • People living with HIV
  • People with an underlying immunosuppressive condition or on immunosuppressive medications, including people with rheumatological disease or who have received solid organ transplants
  • People with chronic kidney disease

The VC² is a collection of biological specimens collected both before and for up to two years after you receive your pandemic vaccines.

We will ask you some basic questions about you and your health. Collected samples (blood and saliva) will be made available to Victorian researchers who want to answer important questions about the safety and effectiveness of pandemic vaccines.
