Overview

Vivin Kokuhennadige is a graduate researcher pursuing a PhD in the Rogerson Group under the supervision of Dr Elizabeth Aitken. Their work focuses on developing and characterising monoclonal antibodies targeting the key blood-stage malaria antigen VAR2CSA, using cellular functional assays to investigate naturally acquired antibody responses in malaria-endemic populations. Beyond their research, Vivin contributes to the Doherty Institute community through their involvement in POSSIIM and the Social Club, and supports teaching within the Department of Microbiology and Immunology.
