Dr Simone Park

Overview

Simone Park is a NHMRC Emerging Leadership Fellow in the Department of Microbiology & Immunology. Simone graduated with a Bachelor of Science (First Class Honours) from the University of Melbourne in 2014. Simone obtained her PhD from the University of Melbourne in 2019 with Associate Professor Thomas Gebhardt and Associate Professor Laura Mackay, researching local immune responses against cancer and infection. Simone is currently a Postdoctoral Research Fellow working in the laboratory of Professor Laura Mackay, investigating the development and function of tissue-resident memory T cells in cancer, infection and autoimmunity.
