Dr Sam Hume is an infectious diseases and general medicine physician. Sam’s clinical focus is on providing excellent bedside care for his patients across a variety of infectious diseases commonly encountered in the hospital setting. As head of Medical Unit 1 in the Department of General Medicine and Director of Physician Education at Royal Melbourne Hospital, Sam seeks to expand core competencies in junior doctors across a range of diagnostic and management principles in both infectious diseases and general medicine.
