Laura Bannerman is passionate about international health and capacity building in low- to middle-income countries. She is the project coordinator for two Centres for Research Excellence, SPARK and SPECTRUM, which both utilise epidemiological modelling to strengthen preparedness and enhance decision making to improve the control of infectious diseases. These consortia are diected by of Professor Jodie McVernon.
Laura has a background in international development and not-for-profit project coordination, and holds a Masters in Peace and Conflict Studies and a Masters in International Public Health from the University of Sydney.
