Dr Huimeng Wang

Overview

Dr. Wang is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Corbett Group at the Doherty Institute. He earned his PhD from the University of Melbourne in 2018, completing his studies jointly in the Strugnell and McCluskey labs. From 2019 to 2023, he held concurrent positions at the University of Melbourne and Guangzhou Medical University (China) under a faculty postdoctoral fellowship awarded by GMU. His research focuses on MAIT cell biology, particularly their roles in microbial infections.
