Associate Professor Daniel Utzschneider

Overview

Dr Daniel Utzschneider is a CSL Centenary & NHMRC Fellow and Laboratory Head at the Peter Doherty Institute for Infection and Immunity (Doherty Institute) at the University of Melbourne. After completing his PhD studies in the group of Professor Dietmar Zehn at the University of Lausanne, Switzerland, Daniel undertook Postdoctoral fellowships with Prof Stephen Hedrick at the University of California San Diego (2015-2018) as well as with Prof Axel Kallies at the Doherty Institute (2018-2021). Since October 2021, he is an independent research group leader at the Doherty Institute.
