Dr Claire Gordon

Senior Research Fellow

Overview

Dr Claire Gordon an immunology scientist and infectious diseases physician. She is a Senior Research Fellow in the Department of Microbiology & Immunology, Infectious Diseases Physician in the Department of Infectious Diseases and Immunology and Medical Specialist  in the North Eastern Public Health Unit, Austin Health. Claire completed training in infectious diseases in 2011 and then studied T cell memory at Columbia University and the University of Oxford until returning to Melbourne in 2018. Claire is currently working in the Laboratory of Professor Laura Mackay, investigating the identification and function of human tissue-resident memory T cells in infection, cancer and autoimmunity.
