Dr Jennifer Juno obtained her PhD in 2014 at the University of Manitoba in Canada, where she studied immune dysfunction during chronic HIV infection. She then completed a post-doctoral fellowship at the Public Health Agency of Canada, examining the impact of TB infection on unconventional T cell subsets. She joined the lab of Dr. Stephen Kent in 2016 to study unconventional T cell immunology in macaque models of HIV infection. She has also developed an interest in understanding Tfh cell responses during influenza infection and vaccination.
