Dr Andrew Brockway is the Chief Executive Officer for Doherty Clinical Trials Ltd. Andrew has more than 20 years research and industry experience and has held local and global roles in research and development roles in large pharmaceutical companies, early phase research institutions, and successfully lead business development activities for a global contract research organisation (CRO). He has expertise in the development and operational delivery of global clinical activities across Asia Pacific, Europe, Africa and North America. He is passionate about the development of new medicines for diseases of unmet medical needs, and spent several years working on clinical trials for malaria and tuberculosis vaccines. He is a Non-Executive Director on the board of a not for profit organisation that supports research into treatments and a cure for a rare neurological disease.

    • Leadership of key malaria clinical development program culminating in successful completion and product registration of first ever malaria vaccine.

      Obtaining more than $40M USD grants from philanthropic foundations for future clinical development programs.

      Establishment and activation of pivotal proof of concept (POC) trial for novel tuberculosis vaccine.

      Secured multiple large and small clinical trials deals, significantly exceeding forecast financial objectives.
