Catriona Nguyen-Robertson sings her way through the FameLab Australia 2019 finals

Doherty Institute PhD student Catriona Nguyen-Robertson sang her way through the finals for FameLab Australia 2019, which were held in Perth earlier this month.

Her presentation, Exercise takes your immune system for a ride, examined the relationship between exercise and immune system response.

Catriona craftily explained to the audience how her research tracks immune cells after exercise in order to identify changes in its function, and how this affects individuals with weaker immune systems.
