Breaking through the ice - science and leadership in Antarctica
Dr Sarah Hanieh, Paediatric Infectious Diseases Physician and Early Career Research Fellow at the Doherty Institute participated in a year-long leadership program for women in science, called Homeward Bound.
It culminated in a three-week expedition to Antarctica earlier this year. We spoke to her about her experience and what leadership skills she took away from the program.
