The Doherty Institute has created a governance structure that supports integration and fosters collaboration, strong leadership and management, creating a unified organisation.

Governed by the Doherty Council, the Doherty Institute is led by the Executive Team with strategic input from the Theme and Cross-Cutting Discipline leaders and external advisory boards, including the Scientific Advisory Board and the Community Advisory Board.
